Panagia Ekatontapiliani

The history of the Church ‘’Panayia Ekatontapiliani ‘’ begins from the 4 th century and is very closely linked with the history of the Byzantine Emperors : Constantine (280-337 m.Cr) and Justinian (527-565m.Ch). According to tradition Panayia Ekatontapiliani was built from St. Helena , mother of Great Connstantine. Another tradition says Ignatius , a disciple of themaster builder of St.Sofia , built this temple.
